Hayley is an American actress and singer. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". She considers herself to be an artist first and foremost. Music has always been her first passion. At 12 years old, the music she was playing took an adolescent turn and she started training professionally. At 13, she began making music. Her debut album in the age of 14. The rest is history. Orrantia is a native of the USA however she has Hispanic roots. Although she spoke only English growing up and had never been to Mexico Orrantia is happy with her Hispanic origins. She hopes to protect it by creating Spanish songs, and also taking classes in the Spanish language. The most famous of these songs is 'Hasta Verte,' which was recorded by her in Spanish. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the debut episode of The X Factor. Orrantia, who was initially chosen through YouTube videos and received an average of four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle at the time of live auditions. Although she originally auditioned on her own in "Hollywood Week", she and three other female singers, were put into a group for the rest in the selection process. The group was eliminated from the show during the fifth live week.
